Civil Structural Design Engineer

Here at Disenos Tecnicos Private Limited, we are looking for an ambitious and energetic civil structural design engineer to help us plan, design, analyze, and manage complex civil structural design projects.

You will be at the front of the company and will have the dedication to create and apply an effective engineering strategy that can help push our vision forward.

The goal is to drive sustainable, high-quality infrastructure solutions from concept to completion that meet required specifications and client expectations.

Responsibilities:

• Performs non-routine and complex assignments from verbal instructions and under minimal supervision.
• Utilize ETABS, SAP2000, STAAD.Pro, AutoCAD, & Revit software to create detailed and accurate design drawings for infrastructure, roads, utilities, industrial projects, residential and commercial buildings.
• Prepare comprehensive documentation, including plan sheets, load calculation details, and quantity take-offs, material selections ensuring all deliverables meet both local and international codes that outline industry standards and project specifications
• Work from concept design to construction completion.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors and engineers.
• Assess existing structures and recommend repairs or upgrades.

Preferred qualifications:

• MTech / Professional certification in civil structural engineering.
• Minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in civil structure design, specifically using ETABS, SAP2000, STAAD.Pro, AutoCAD & Revit.
• Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices
• Experience in medium-to-heavy structural design or construction projects
• Proficient in preparing construction documents and drawings
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Effective communication abilities and a team-oriented mindset
• Familiarity with local building codes and regulations
• GIS experience is a plus
• Knowledge of utility plan design and utility plan preparation
• Strong attention to detail with exceptional thoroughness for plan design
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Ability to manage, mentor, and train more junior-level team members
